my process

This is a large camphor tree that is over 100 years old.
It is a moment of tension, with an overwhelming presence and a sense of expectation for the work to come. The image of the work is projected into the wood.

Working in the workshop involves hard work and repeating the images in one's head.
When the production begins and the saw goes in, the whole workshop is filled with the aroma of camphor wood, so strong that it makes your breath suffocate and your eyes hurt.
The sound of the mallet echoes throughout the room.
